Feelings

The objective of this presentation is to reinforce the fact that everyone has feelings and that they are important.  Students will also that they need to be able to identify their feelings and communicate them to a safe adult.

Dealing with Angry Feelings

Students will learn what physically happens in our bodies, how we can watch for warning signs, and several strategies for dealing with anger.  Students will also learn how and when to talk about angry feelings.

Healthy vs. Unhealthy Friendships

The objective of this presentation is to help the students know what characteristics they are looking for in a good friend.  Students will also learn what characteristics are not safe and should stay away from.

Boundaries

The objective of this presentation is to teach the student about setting both physical and emotional boundaries, why boundaries are necessary, and what to do if others are not respecting boundaries.

Goal Setting

The objective of this presentation is to empower the student by helping them to see that goal setting is invaluable when it comes to personal growth.  Students will learn strategies for setting and achieving both long term and sort term goals.

Teasing vs. Taunting

The objective of this presentation is to teach the child the differences between teasing and taunting.  Students will also learn some strategies for dealing with the bully and also learn some ways on how to prevent from internalizing the put-downs.

Respect

The objective of this presentation is to define and explain respect.  The students will learn the importance of self-respect, respecting peers and respecting authority

Diversity

The objective of this presentation is to empower students to learn not only to accept each others differences but to embrace those differences.

Honesty & Integrity

The objective of this presentation is to reinforce the importance of honesty in all relationships.  Self respect is vital to feeling empowered and honesty and integrity is vital to self respect

Internet Safety

The objective of this presentation is to teach students some of the dangers that are lurking out there on the internet.  They will learn safety precautions and safety tips to use while surfing the web.
