Growing
Strong is a rape crisis center in Decatur, IL. We provide healing
services to victims of sexual assault and sexual abuse, and their significant
others.
The Sexual Assault Awareness Council is a Millikin University student run organization committed to eliminating sexual violence on campus.
SAAC also co-facilitates presentations with Growing Strong on campus for student organizations, residence halls or Greek chapters. Some topics available for presentations are Sexual Harassment, Dating Violence, Education = Empowerment, Acquaintance Rape and Date Rape Drugs. These presentations can be tailored to fit the needs of the organization, and are not necessarily limited to the topics listed above.
