Prevention Education

If the cycle of sexual violence is ever to be broken, it must begin through education.

Awareness through education is the greatest importance in the prevention of sexual violence.  Education and collaboration are the key components to breaking the silence about the issue.  Growing Strong's prevention education program strives to educate based on developing protective factors that enhances decision-making skills, developing good character, and building respect for self and others.

The following programs are currently being offered by Growing Strong prevention educators. Multiple programs may be scheduled for each grade. Changes and adjustments may be made to better suit the needs of the counselor, teacher, or students.
