Prevention Education

Growing Strong Sexual Assault Center offers education on the prevention of sexual violence and related topics for the communities we serve. Prevention comes in many forms, at all stages of life; from respecting when your child does not want a hug, to laws that protect survivors. Growing Strong works within all three tiers of prevention. 

Our 4 core lessons are offered to all age-groups (Pre-K - 12th grade):

  • Erin’s Law/Body Safety
  • Bully Prevention 

  • Internet Safety 

  • Healthy Relationships

 

These topics are supplemented with lessons on:

  • Faith’s Law/Grooming Prevention (3rd-12th)
  • Bystander Intervention (Pre-K-12th)

  • Healthy Relationships Part Two (7th-12th)

 

We also offer lessons on:

  • Human Trafficking Prevention (7th-12th)

  • Sexual Harassment History & Prevention (7th-12th)

  • The History of Sexual Violence & Prevention (7th-12th)
